A dedicated visionary & native of Texarkana, Texas, Apostle Calvin L. Williams Sr. submitted to the call of preaching and teaching at the early age of 7. Apostle Williams has been serving in the pastoral ministry since 2006 from Minister of Music at Friendly Church of God in Christ and Greenway Church to founding and serving as Senior Pastor at Kingdom Advancement International Ministry.
As a third generation pastor, Apostle’s dynamic preaching style and revelatory sermons have opened several opportunities for him to preach and teach nationwide. His deep wisdom and sensitivity to the voice of the Holy Spirit led him to begin discipleship training under the tutelage of the late Apostle Jim Boswell, Founder of Discipleship Training Center. While under the leadership of Jim Boswell and his wife Carol Boswell, he was taught and trained on the Biblical process of discipleship and was later ordained as an Apostle in 2019.
Shortly after his ordination, Apostle Calvin established the Kingdom Covenant Connection Counsel (KC3); a culmination of pastors who glean from one another as they carry out the assignments God has placed in their hands for the working of the Kingdom. Within this counsel, Apostle provides training, support and accountability for the pastors that are a part of this God ordained counsel.
Just as a sowers purpose is to sow, he has an undeniable anointing that allows him to minister to those in need of healing in their marriages, in their minds, their bodies and their souls. With this great responsibility and calling to fulfill, he still finds time to visit with the sick, conduct discipleship training, counsel marriages weekly, build the house of the Lord and spend time studying God’s Word.
He is supported in ministry by his beautiful wife, Shawnee, their 6 children and one grandchild. This shepherd's ultimate desire is to see others advance the Kingdom of God through love, discipleship, and faith while fully experiencing the joy and fullness of God’s promises for their life.
Shawnee Williams is undoubtedly a Proverbs 31 Woman who was called by God. She is married to Apostle Calvin Williams Sr. and they share in their Kingdom role of diligently serving God’s people. She is co-founder of Kingdom Advancement Ministry in Fort Worth, Texas where she labors with her husband to disciple and lead other believers into a deeper understanding of Christ.
Shawnee is anointed in worship, exhortation, intercessory prayer, counseling and many other gifts that she uses to serve the people of God. Born a Texas native, Shawnee’s relationship with Christ began at a young age as she began singing for the Lord at 2 years old. Over the years her desire to know Christ more deeply, developed a hunger of prayer, praise, and worship in her, that she still pursues to this day. Her dedication to the works of Christ, unlocked many opportunities for Shawnee, as she launched her own graphic design business, Kingdom Raiment, in October of 2016. Through this work, Shawnee has been responsible for several Kingdom inspired designs that adorn many garments we see today.
One of Lady Shawnee’s most rewarding gifts has been her union to Apostle Calvin Williams, and the amazing family they share together; six children and one beautiful grandchild. Her role as wife, has ministered to several women who have sat at her feet to understand their purpose in their marriage and how to best serve their husbands according to the Word of God. Alongside her husband, the Williams’ co-counseling efforts with a focus on families, has helped to sustain and nurse marriages back to a healthy covenant in Christ Jesus.
Shawnee can be found leading saints into worship every Sunday as a longtime member of the Kingdom Advancement Ministry Praise Team. When asked her reason for why she works, worships and loves God the way that she does, Shawnee most humbly replied according to the mindset and model all Believers should follow, “Worship Works.”
Pastor Saul is a natural born leader. From serving as a Pastor in the marketplace, to leading his wife and daughters at home, his heart’s desire is to please the Lord in everything he does. Pastor Saul is a dynamic speaker that models what he preaches. He is a devoted member to the ministry who desires for families to grow deeper in Jesus. He is a co-laborer alongside our Apostle. Pastor Saul is a true servant leader who works diligently to execute the vision of the church. He is a great teacher of the word of God, with a special anointing to preach and teach the principles of tithing.. He has a passion for the Word of God and desires to proclaim the Word of God with conviction and confidence.
Elisha is a wife, mother, intercessor and teacher at KAM. She oversees all administrative tasks for our ministry. She works to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of the church, overseeing the daily activities and operations of the ministry. While her family is her first ministry, Elisha works relentlessly to collaborate with others to create effective processes that keep Kingdom Advancement progressing day by day. Additionally, Elisha and her husband Deacon LeMar are responsible for teaching the Biblical Conflict Resolution sessions. With the Lord’s help, they have successfully deposited this information into the lives of many and have been able to see the transformative power of God working in every participants life. Elisha’s heart and purpose in life is for people to learn WHO God is so they can truly have an intimate relationship with Jesus.
